Lorna is a passionate teacher, offering a broad and musical approach to her instrumental teaching. She has a number of private pupils and is available for cello, piano and theory lessons in and around Wiltshire. For more information, please contact her.

Lorna loves education work and has been involved in a variety of projects. 

Throughout her postgraduate study, Lorna assisted Junior Trinity's String Time Programme in Hampstead, which provides lessons in musicianship, ensemble, Dalcroze and individual string instrumental lessons for primary aged children. Lorna has ran sectionals for The Royal Northern College of Music Junior Department and coached chamber music for The Royal Academy of Music's Young String Experience. Lorna also teaches and coaches with Pro Corda on many of their courses, as part of her Leverhulme Fellowship. With Pro Corda, Lorna has also ran string workshops/composition sessions for children with special education needs as part of their workshops in Cambridgeshire and sat as an adjudicator as part of their Chamber Music Festival. 

Most recently, the Bybrook Duo has given interactive family concerts at The Pound in Corsham and schools in Cardiff and Herefordshire. Lorna performed as part of Primary Live; a small orchestra providing interactive concerts for children throughout Wiltshire. She has also worked on similar projects with Hallé Education, which included assisting at workshops in schools and leading classes with their compositions in concerts at The Bridgewater Hall. In 2013, Lorna worked as a trainee on Wigmore Hall's Chamber Tots project, providing workshops for a reception class in Haringey culminating in a concert at Wigmore Hall. During her postgraduate studies, Lorna was involved in multiple projects with Open Academy, English Touring Opera, the Alzheimer's Society (Singing for the Brain) and Share Music Devon. During her time at The Royal Academy of Music, Lorna was awarded the Marylebone Student Award for her contributions to the education department.
